The CAF Confederation Cup match between Asante Kotoko of Ghana and Nigeria's Kwara United will be decided at the Accra Sports Stadium instead of the Kasarani Sports Complex, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.

This follows the renovation work at the Kasarani Sports Complex even though it wasn't approved by CAF to host its competitions.

CAF’s directive reveal that the Accra Sports Stadium is the only approved venue in Ghana for the competition, although it still falls short of full standards. 

The facility has been granted temporary approval for the preliminary rounds of both the Confederation Cup and the Champions League scheduled for September.

Asante Kotoko will host Kwara United between September 19 and 21, 2025, before travelling to Nigeria for the return leg set for September 26 to 28.
