APC Youths Donate N100m to Tinubu for 2027 Re-election Nomination Form
Youths of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State have donated N100 million towards the purchase of President Bola Tinubu’s nomination form for the 2027 presidential election.
The cheque was presented on Sunday to Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Ododo, at a Youths Endorsement Rally held at the Muhammadu Buhari Square, Lokoja.
Speaking at the event, a representative of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) said the donation was a show of confidence in President Tinubu’s leadership and the ongoing economic and institutional reforms being implemented by his administration. He noted that the youths believed the reforms, though challenging, were necessary for long-term national development.
The APC National Youth Leader, Dayo Israel, said the policies of President Tinubu and Governor Ododo had positively impacted young people across the country, particularly in the areas of empowerment, inclusion and governance. He urged youths to continue supporting the APC-led administration at both state and federal levels.
Also speaking, the Kogi State APC Chairman, Abdullahi Bello, commended the youths for the initiative, describing it as a demonstration of loyalty and political maturity. He called for continuity in leadership to allow ongoing programmes and reforms to be fully consolidated.
In his response, Governor Ododo expressed appreciation to the youths for their support and pledged to personally deliver the cheque to President Tinubu. He described the 2027 general election as a clear choice between sustained progress and empty rhetoric, urging Nigerians to support the path of development.
Hundreds of APC youths drawn from the 21 local government areas of Kogi State attended the rally, which also featured speeches, solidarity chants and endorsements for President Tinubu and Governor Ododo.
