Referees from Anambra State undergoing FIFA Cooper Test on Friday, 30 August, received an 'August Visitor' in the person of Chikelue Iloenyosi, Chairman of Anambra State Football Association, who visited to encourage and motivate the match arbiters, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.

The Referees of Anambra extraction are in the FCT for their annual fitness test and grading ahead the coming 2024/2025 season.

'General', as Iloenyosi is fondly called by his admirers, has continued to inspire football and its affiliates since mounting the leadership of football in the South East State.

"It's a normal thing. The Referees are here (Abuja), for their annual Cooper Test and its normal that,I come around to see them.

"It's a way of motivating them and encourage them so they can do well for the good of the game and Anambra State", Iloenyosi said.
