Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State has handed Emmanuel Amuneke sweeping role in Heartland FC in a bid to ensure professionalism, result-oriented performance by the once dreaded Naze Millionaires, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.

During his unveiling at the Executive Chambers of the Government House, Owerri, Governor Uzodinma said the former Nigeria international will function in the capacity of Technical Manager, revealing that the former Tanzania Coach will report directly to him (the Governor). 

"This is to remove all administrative bottlenecks that have hindered the progress of the club", Senator Uzodinma pointed out.

"He will report directly to me and I'll always be available, online, virtual or physical to attend to him for approvals or otherwise.

"In the reports that we got, we found out that bureaucratic bottlenecks had been the problem of the club, hence we decided to jettison it this time around", Uzodinma said.
