Newly formed Buberio FC have intensified preparations ahead of the forthcoming NLO season with a ceremonious participation at the ongoing 10th edition of Dreamland Abia State and Embassy of Hungary Cup, a scouting experience basically geared towards forging them ahead and being battle ready for hostilities in the soon to be unveiled NLO season.

The Isuochi based outfit couldn't withstand the surge thrown at them by the Enyimba under 18 side as Uchechukwu Agada's brilliant brace condemned them o a 2-0 loss in the opening day of the ongoing scouting tournament. A result downplayed by the club's General Manager Mr Onyemaechi Michael while highlighting the crux of the team's participation at the scouting tourney is basically for mental alertness and as a template for optimum preparation ahead of the new NLO season in perspective.

While speaking to exclusivenews at the Enyimba Stadium Aba in the aftermath of the team's 2-0 loss in their opener, the vastly experienced football administrator bullishly affirmed possibilities for his side when the NLO season finally gets underway;

"Our primary target participating in this tournament is for the boys to be in shape for the project ahead, we need to draw out negatives from the loss as we go back to the drawing board. The target for the president is for the team to get to the playoffs and then push for the NNL. We are still recruiting quality players, we've outlined high profile friendly matches to really size their abilities before coming to a conclusive term, we have an identity and core values which must be defended in a competitive atmosphere".  The astute football manager concluded.

Buberio FC are faced with a gruelling Monday double header as they seek to return to winning ways at the ongoing tournament with an early kickoff against Dona Stars football academy slated for 9AM in their second match even as Benson Football Academy awaits them later in the evening in their third match of the tournament, as kick-off is billed for 4:10pm. Possibilities ahead for the isuochi based side.
