The Secretary General of the All Stars Badminton Club, Mohammed Auwal Bako, has assured fans and participants that all is set for the highly anticipated All Stars Mega Badminton Championship, scheduled to begin on December 11, 2024, at the Gymnasium Hall of the MKO Abiola Stadium.

Speaking ahead of the tournament, Bako confirmed that the prize monies, the largest in Nigeria's badminton history, are safely secured. These rewards will be distributed from the round of 16 to the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and ultimately to the finalists and eventual champions.

"We are feeling a bit of pressure, which is natural when organizing a championship of this magnitude," Bako admitted. "But we are fully prepared. This is about more than just competition—it’s about raising the bar for badminton in Nigeria and ensuring our athletes have the best opportunities."

He concluded with confidence, emphasizing the club’s commitment to elevating the sport: "We are pulling out all the stops to make this championship a resounding success."
