Alansmith Delivers Inspire Sports Academy Pitch In Record Time
Many residents of Oshodi, a suburb of Lagos, are familiar with the NITEL training ground, which now hosts the Inspire Sports Academy International.
Like a masterpiece, another artificial playing turf has been delivered by Alansmith, a leading player in the sports facility business for the past 15 years.
With the stadium needing to be handed over to Inspire Sports Academy in just over a few months, a time-efficient build process became a priority.
The Inspire Sports Academy playing turf features a 60mm FIFA-standard artificial turf pitch, complete with shock pads and a French drain system.
"Once we sealed the deal and were able to start, it was just a matter of time. Against all odds, we delivered the project to another client, Inspire Sports Academy,” says Joshua Adamu, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chairman of Alansmith Nigeria Limited.
For some facility contractors, low maintenance cost is not a priority, but for Alansmith, it is essential to deliver a facility that meets demanding standards, has a lasting legacy, and is economical to operate and maintain.
According to Adamu, "Every material used by Alansmith in all the sports facilities we've delivered over the years is cost-effective."
He also emphasized the importance of speed and timely delivery, which his company considers crucial.
"We are still the only company in the country that can deliver standard pitches within 90 days. Alansmith completed two pitches simultaneously between August and November."
The result of this remarkably fast-tracked and thoughtfully designed stadium project will undoubtedly be a jewel in Oshodi and for the Inspire Sports Academy.
