Ben Akwuegbu, a former Super Eagles forward, has continued to add more feathers to his already saturated cap, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.

This follows his recent appoint by the United Kingdom National Health Service, NHS.

Akwuegbu, who's fondly called 'Austria Bomber', had recently graduated from the Angelia Ruskin University, A.R.U, where he studied Mental Health Nursing.

Exclusivenews.com.ng is in possession of his letter of appointment, dated August 16.

While in the employ of NHS, the one time Heartland FC Assistant General Manager and Proprietor of Mbaise Lions FC, Akwuegbu United FC both of Owerri and presently President of Ben Akwuegbu FC, Jos, will work with Nurses and Doctors as well as other professionals in carrying out his duties.

Checks reveal that the Nigerian has already enlisted for his Masters Programe in Mental Health Nurse.

Akwuegbu received his appointment by NHS with delight but quickly added that its a 'call to duty and challenge'.

"I'm excited. It's reward for my hard work and painstaking studies after my football career", starts former Nigeria international who represented the country in all the four levels of the National Teams.

"After my playing career, I opted for higher educational pursuit and I'm happy It's gradually paying off.

"Of course, it's a challenge and call for more hard work. In life, you just need to keep pushing", Akwuegbu emphasized
