The Africa Military Games football event kicked off in Abuja, featuring four countries: Algeria, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, and Nigeria. The draw, conducted at the MKO stadium's media center, set the stage for exciting matches.

In the opening game, Nigeria's Armed Forces will face off against Cameroon's Armed Forces at 4 pm today at the stadium's main bowl. This encounter is expected to renew the football rivalry between the two teams.

The second match, scheduled for 6 pm, will see Algeria's Armed Forces battling Equatorial Guinea's Armed Forces. Nigerian referee Abdullahi Abubakar will officiate the first game, while Algerian international referee Benyahia Houssam will take charge of the Nigeria versus Cameroon match.
