Kada Queens set the tone for the day with a dominant performance, securing a resounding 4-0 victory over Sharkeia HC. Their emphatic win showcased their strength and determination in the competition. However, the momentum didn’t carry over for other Nigerian teams.

Western Jaguars delivered a crushing blow to Niger Flickers, handing them a heavy 6-1 defeat, which ultimately ended their hopes of progressing beyond the group stage. It was a disappointing outcome for the Flickers, who struggled to keep up with the relentless attacking play of the Jaguars.

Later in the day, Kada Stars took to the field but couldn’t replicate the success of their female counterparts. They suffered a 3-1 defeat to Sharkeia HC, capping off a day of contrasting results for Nigerian teams in the tournament.
