Abia Warriors Football Club of Umuahia is gearing up to launch its 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League Season campaign on Sunday, September 8th, 2024, at the Umuahia Township Stadium. The Warriors, nicknamed Umu-Chineke, will face off against Remo Stars of Ikenne in the highly anticipated Matchday 1 encounter.

The two teams last met in the league, resulting in a goalless draw at the Enyimba Stadium. However, this time around, Abia Warriors will have the home advantage at their fortress, the Umuahia Township Stadium.
