An Aba based business man and philanthropist Hon. Moses Ibe Oba has lashed out on the Deputy Speaker of The House Of Representative RT Hon. Benjamin Kalu on the  recent comment he made in a viral video where he openly threatened that  Governor Alex Otti would be the last governor the Labour Party will produce in Abia State and that his party The All Progressive Congress would take over in 2027.

 

Hon. Oba in a message made open to the media  described Hon. Kalu's comments as a baseless and senseless , 

"The comments by Hon. Kalu is  senseless and baseless, it goes along way to show how desperate for power they are at APC. I doubt if he visits Abia State at all because if he does he would know that Governor Otti enjoys an unrivaled support from Abians due to the unprecedented dividends of democracy they are enjoying from his Gov. Otti's government" says Hon. Oba

Hon. Oba went further to predict  that Hon. Kalu will struggle to retain his mandate come 2027 "am almost certain that he (Hon.Kalu) will find it very difficult to win in his own ward let alone his constituency come 2027 because Abia State is totally a Labour Party State so Hon. Kalu should wake up from that dream and accept the fact that labour party has come to stay in Abia" he said.
