Organisers of the annual FestDrine/ANSFA All Stars Competition have confirmed that draws for this year's edition will now hold on Tuesday, 27 May, 2025, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.

The draws was earlier thought to hold on Friday, 23 May but had to be rescheduled for logistic reasons.

27 teams are understood to have completed registration formalities and will take part in the draws billed for the Corporate Office of the Anambra State Football Association, Udoka Housing Estate, Awka, at 11am.

Ralph Nweke, Secretary of Anambra State Football Association, in a statement made available to Exclusivenews.com.ng on Saturday disclosed that the Organising Committee of the FA,has ratified the Tuesday date for the draws.

The Organising Committee is headed by the Vice Chairman of the FA, Victor Aniekwena as Chairman.

The competition has a N1.5m star prize for the overall winner while the runners-up gets a reward of N700, 000 just as the third place winner smiles home with half a million Naira.

There will also be individual awards for Best Goalkeeper, Best Behaved Team, Most Valuable Player, Highest Goal Scorer amongst others which goes with a prize of N50, 000 each.

Monfes Pharmaceuticals Limited, makers of FestDrine are the official sponsors of this year's edition of the tournament reserved exclusively for retired players of 40 years and above. The tournament is the initiative of Chikelue 'General' Iloenyosi, a former Super Eagles defender and now Chairman of Anambra State Football Association.
