2025 Jagaban Cup Draw Sets Stage for Thrilling Tournament as Teams Gear Up for Scout-Studded Event in Lagos

The draw for the 2025 Jagaban Cup was held on Sunday night, setting the stage for an exciting tournament.
Ikorodu City found themselves placed in Group A, where they will face tough competitors such as 36 Lion, FC Bethel, and Broad City. Meanwhile, Dino SC were drawn into Group B, where they will compete against Imperial FC, Ijebu United, and SGFC Athletics.
The Jagaban Cup is backed by several partners, including 36 Lion Investment, Diamond Sports Management Limited, IFMM, and Lagos Enigma Group. The tournament will be hosted at the Legacy Pitch in Lagos and will span four days, attracting European scouts to the event.
Previous editions of the tournament have drawn scouts from over six countries, leading to numerous players being invited for trials abroad and securing professional contracts. Among the notable success stories from the Jagaban Cup are Uchenna Emmanuel (Sparta Praha), Joseph Oloko (Liepija), Samuel Isife (Vlasim), Chukuebuka Enyiazu (Pardubice), Peter Kareem (Bohemians 1905), and Solomon Agbalaka (Sochi).
To qualify for participation in the tournament, teams must ensure that their players have logged a minimum of 2,500 minutes of playtime in each leg.
