20 teams beat the 2024 Abia State FA Cup registration as stipulated by the NFF. 

Confirming this to Exclusivenews.com.ng in Umuahia , the Chairman of Abia State Football Association Dr Obioma Onyeaghala said registration for the 2024 FA cup closed on  Friday 24th November 2023.

He said that 20 teams met the registration formalities as stipulated. The teams he said include 15 male teams and 5 female teams.

The Male Teams he said include last season finalist Ahudiyannem FC of Abiriba; Africa Oh FC of Aba; Winepress Ministries FC of Aba; FC General of Aba, Uchecaria FC of Aba, The Prevailers Football Academy of Umuahia, Abia Warriors FC of Umuahia, Abia Warriors Feeder Team FC of Umuahia, Vision Africa Waves FC of Umuahia, defending champions Enyimba int'l FC of Aba, Enyimba int'l FC Feeder Team of Aba, Megamu FC of Aba, Abia Comets FC of Umuahia, Miracle FC of Umunneochi and Top Level FC of Aba.

The Female Teams are 
Ahudiyannem Queens FC of Abiriba, Daughters of the Prevailers Football Academy of Umuahia of Abia Angels FC of Aba, Aba Daughters FC of Aba.

The Chairman further revealed that the draws would be held soon based on the NFF directives.
