Okwenu All Stars FC is set to begin the defence of the Budweiser/KM Lubricants All Stars Championship against thirteen Football Clubs as the soccer fiesta gets underway on Saturday, 12th October, 2024.

The Budweiser/KM Lubricants All Stars Championship which is bankrolled by the sponsor, Chief Kenneth Maduakor will run from October 12th 2024 till the grand finale expected to hold on Sunday, 15th December 2024 at the FC IfeanyiUbah International Stadium, Ozubulu-Nnewi.

According to the Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), Jonathan Igwe who is being assisted by Nnaemeka Iloka, the winner of the second edition will smile home with the sum of N1million while the second placed, third and fourth placed teams will each go home with the sum of N500,000; N300,000 and N200,000 respectively among other consolation prizes such as most valuable player (MVP), top scorer and best behaved team.

For the draws, Wood Marshals FC will slug it out against Hunters FC and Nimo All Stars FC in Group A, Group B has the defending champions Okwenu All Stars FC who will play against Ogodo Sports Club, Nnewi All Stars and SSK FC while Group D will parade Peace FC, Uncle Ralph FC and Accurate FC.

The maiden edition was won by Okwenu All Stars FC who defeated Juventus FC All Stars in the grand finale courtesy of Chidiebere Augustine Ozoemena’s goal in the 68th minute of the match. The final was played on Sunday, 3rd December 2023 at the FCIU Stadium.
