Despite being reduced to 10 men after Ikenna Ogbonna's red card in the 70th minute, the Comets Boys produced a brilliant performance. Goalkeeper Sunday Odoani made a crucial penalty save in the 68th minute to deny the hosts.

The defense, led by Bright Ogbonna and Churchill Nnanna, held firm to secure a vital point on the road. This draw extends Abia Comets' unbeaten streak to seven games, maintaining their top spot in Southern Conference A with 13 points from seven games.

Abia Comets will face Dakkada FC in Umuahia next weekend in a Matchday 8 encounter.
