Zohar Football Academy, one of the leading women Football academies in the country has unveiled Coach Ben Adieze, a former ABS Ilorin FC U17s Coach to drive their push to become one of the women footballer talent discovering and development center, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.

Adieze, a former goalkeeper during his playing days, had career spells at Delta Force, Asaba, and later FC Barraka, Sofia, Bulgaria, before venturing into coaching.

Adieze, Exclusivenews.com.ng checks reveal, led ABS Ilorin FC U17s to Nationwide League One promotions back to back before he was hired by Zohar sole financier, Hon Princess Obiajulu Ugwu, Deputy Whip, Enugu State House of Assembly, who represents Enugu South Constituency. She's also Chairman, House Committee on Water Resources and who has a remarkable passion for the young girls to not only 'play, but also lead'.

"My first assignment was the concluded Judith Chime Championship", Coach Ben Adieze began when Exclusivenews.com.ng spoke to him at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu, Saturday, on the sidelines of the tournament's final match between eventual winners, Rangers Women and Awka Angels.

"We didn't make it to the knock out stage but I'm not disappointed. Instead, I'm pleased with the girls response to our new philosophy within the few weeks I had been in charge.

"Zohar Football Academy is driven by the desire to become a center where girls rise, play and lead", he added.

The former Bulgaria based shot stopper disclosed that Zohar FA's vision is to become Africa's leading power house for developing  talented, educated  and empowered female footballers".

He went on to disclose that to achieve this set objective, as a coach, patience and endurance are the fundamental qualities that is the bedrock to achieve success.

Adieze was full of praises for the Proprietor of the Academy for putting her scarce resources into such venture that's aimed at ensuring a better future for the girl child.

Reflecting on the concluded Judith Chime Championship tagged 'Enugu 2025', Coach Adieze  praised the former Super Falcons goalkeeper for defying the harsh economic situation in the country to organise the championship which brought together 18 female football clubs across the country to compete.

"Besides, she brought support and motivation to grassroot female football using her time and personal resources in this harsh economic time.

"I tell you, this is the type of personality that dully deserve Nigeria Football Feseration, NFF, honour".

Zohar FA, he added, will register for the 2025/2026 Women Federation Cup. Towards this, he revealed that the Academy will embark on an intensive screening exercise to select young girls with the required talent to wear the academy's shirts.

Zohar FA is understood to have working relationship with four agencies outside the country including Roses FC, Canada and Malaga Female Club, Spain amongst others.

"We owe our financier a duty to deliver on our own side to reciprocate her huge investment in female football where others have refused to venture into.

"And its our prayers for God to bless and provide for her for humanitarian disposition", Coach Adieze concluded.
