Reality TV star and media personality Phyna has sparked widespread reactions online following her candid comments about cosmetic surgery, particularly Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), during a recent livestream.

 

Phyna, who rose to fame after appearing on Big Brother Naija, argued that many people who criticize celebrities for altering their bodies are driven more by financial limitations than by moral concerns.

 

“You always say once someone goes on Big Brother or wins, they start changing their body. My dear, if you had money, you would do it too,” she said.

 

She added that if a woman had as much as ₦20 million at her disposal, she would likely consider undergoing cosmetic surgery. According to Phyna, a lack of financial resources is the main reason many people judge such decisions.

 

“It’s because you don’t have money. Even me, I admit it’s about money. It’s nothing else,” she stated.
