FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike has been advised to leave activities in PDP alone and face his Ministerial position with the APC government.

According to a  Chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Dele Momodu, former Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike is a minister in the All Progressive Congress, APC, and yet he still wants to maintain absolute power in the Peoples Democratic party, PDP.

This statement was in reaction to the rift between Wike and the current Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara.

Dele Momodu, in a post that he titled "Another Kobo Advice For Mr Ezenwo Nyesom Wike" said that Wike wants to maintain absolute power in PDP despite being a minister in APC. He said he should have left Governor Siminalayi Fubara to grow and be a man of his own.

Meanwhile, following the crisis that is rocking Rivers State over the alleged plan to impeach Siminalayi Fubara, the governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, the minister of FCT, has stated that even if he is been accused while he is performing his duty in Abuja, he won't have a sleepless night. He emphasised that everyone in politics desires to maintain their political standing and support network.
The  FCT Minister questioned whether anyone would willingly allow others to remove them from the political landscape. He asserted that even if someone takes his political base, he would still be politically relevant. He expressed confidence that, in time, the truth will come to light and it will become clear who is  right and who is  wrong.

According to him, "If you like accuse me from here, I won't even have a sleepless night because, as far as I'm concerned, the right thing must be done. All of us want to be politically relevant; all of us want to maintain our political structure, so before you leave this country, you had your political structure. Will you allow anybody to just cut you out immediately? Wike asked rhetorically.
