The Yoshi Football Academy officially launched its Abuja branch on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at the Astro Turf in Wuse Zone 5. The ceremony drew enthusiastic young talents, parents, and stakeholders.

Renowned retired FIFA referee and former National Institute for Sports (NIS) Head of Management Studies, Dr. Alex Mana, flagged off the academy. Coach Marcello Anyanwu, Yoshi Sporting Director, handed over the symbolic baton to Founder/CEO Coach Ahmad Geidam, who then passed it to Team Manager Halilu Abumahamud. Finally, Dr. Mana unveiled the academy.

Dr. Mana praised Yoshi Academy, saying, "This is a brand-new revelation in Nigerian football... Yoshi deserves a pat on the back for bringing innovation and expertise to our football development."
