Afrobeats icon Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has opened up about what truly defines his life at the moment, placing fatherhood, music, and God above everything else.

 

The 35-year-old superstar shared the personal reflection during a relaxed conversation with fellow singer Asake on Close Friends Only with Instagram, a special Instagram series aired on Thursday night.

 

During the session, both artistes were asked to name the three most important things in their lives right now. Wizkid’s response came without hesitation and began with his role as a father.

 

“For me, my daughter. I just wake up and smile. Music. God,” he said.
