Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, don talk say President Bola Ahmed Tinubu don enter the Rivers State political crisis one last time, as final move to bring peace between Rivers State House of Assembly and Governor Siminalayi Fubara.

 

Wike yarn this one on Tuesday for Abuja when e dey talk to journalists. According to am, President Tinubu act like papa wey no fit siddon dey look while serious fight dey happen between governor and lawmakers for the state.

 

The former Rivers governor say president of Tinubu level no fit just fold hand when disagreement between executive and legislature don drag for too long. E remind say Tinubu don earlier talk say e no wan continue dey interfere for the matter.

 

Wike say all the people wey dey involved for the crisis don already get instruction to respect and obey anything wey president talk, and e sure say dem no go disobey.

 

“With God help, this na the last time Mr President go put body for this matter,” Wike talk. “I dey very sure say dem go obey Mr President. I don already tell dem.”

 

The FCT minister still talk say e dey hopeful say Governor Fubara go do wetin e suppose do to make peace last for Rivers State, especially as people for the state don suffer long from political wahala.

 

Wike comments come after closed-door meeting wey happen Sunday night for Presidential Villa, Abuja, between President Tinubu, Governor Fubara and Wike himself. Report say after the meeting, Governor Fubara follow Wike commot the Villa, as dem try settle the matter and find common ground.

 

The fight between Rivers executive and legislative arms don last for months, causing tension and slowing governance for the state. But from wetin Wike talk, e clear say President Tinubu wan see final settlement and no plan to enter the matter again.

 

Now, all eyes don turn to Governor Fubara and Rivers State House of Assembly to see whether dem go drop their differences and bring back political peace and stability to the state.
