Prince Chidiebere Eze Onuoha, Proprietor of First Mahi Fc, has told Exclusively informed Exclusivenews.com.ng that the ongoing NLO Playoff at OISA Stadium, Okpala, near Owerri, is not a 'do or die affair' for his team.

"First and foremost, we're here to enjoy ourselves and the games", starts the club boss who went on to reveal his reason for floating the club.

"We are not here to win at all costs. But if in the course of our genuine and committed efforts, victory comes our way in the end, why not, we will grab it with open hands.

"This team came into existence three years ago and I must say they have faired well.

"We are motivated to take the youths off the streets and sundry crime, hence I'm determined to keep investing in it.

"Talking about funding in the face of the harsh economic situation in the country, I must say that if you put that into consideration, you won't do anything.

"It's all about passion. I've the passion. I want to play positive role in the life of the youths. Aside providing the platform to launch their careers, it's important also to note that there's also the business aspect of the game which is ensuring that exceptionally talented ones are helped to launch their careers to Europe which is economically good for themselves, their families and communities and as well the club, state and nation", Prince Chidiebere Eze Onuoha said.

First Mahi played out a goaless draw with Ikukuoma in the NLO Playoff on Saturday and are billed to trade tackles with Heartland Feeders on Monday in the second day of the playoffs.
