The fairytale run of Top level FA of Aba in the ongoing Abia State FA Cup unfortunately came to an end on Thursday, as debutant Top level FA lost to Ahudiya Nnem FC of Abariba by 3-0.

Basking in the euphoria of  a back to back victory and an impregnable defense in their first two games of the tournament, Top level FA had reasons to fancy their chances against last season's runners up. But had their dreams cut short after some series of controversial officiating and inexperience conspired to their elimination.

 

Speaking after the game, the coach of Top level FA Mr Membis Vitus "That's football for you, we dominated the match, we were totally in control of the match throughout encounter but our inexperience at this level of football coupled with the obvious biasness of the match officials cost us the match".

 

He urged the organizers of the State FA Cup (The Abia FA) to endeavor to improve in the mode of officiating in subsequent matches and editions of the tournament.
