The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Youth and Sports,Mr Olusade Adesola has reiterated the commitment of the sports ministry to ensuring that all national teams are catered for
Mr Olusade stated this during an exclusive interview with exclusivenews.com.ng in Abuja following the reports of Nigeria Football Federation,NFF complaining of lack of fund to prosecute the nations cup which is ongoing in Egypt.
‘The national teams are representing Nigeria and government will always do everything possible to ensure that all nationals teams are catered for be it Super Eagles or Super Falcons, etc’
‘The NFF issue is already before the President and being a sports loving person who even watched the Super Eagles against Burundi,you can sure he will speed things up’ he said
The Super Eagles of Nigeria defeated Burundi 1-0 in the first match played on Saturday with the next match coming on Wednesday against Guinea
