W/C Qualifiers: I'II Prove Myself If Given The Opportunity-- NPFL Star, Sadiq

NPFL star defender, Ismaila Sadiq, has expressed readiness to give out his best if given the nod to start in Nigeria's all-important clash against South Africa for the 2026 World Cup ticket.
Sadiq and others plying their trade in the NPFL made Finidi George's list for the battle to secure the World Cup ticket holding in three continents including Africa.
According to the Remo Stars player, it is a privilege to be part of the group as it came as a surprise.
In his words, "It's a privilege for me to be with senior players and good players. I should be able to learn new things from them.
"Let me say, I didn't expect this (call up) in the first place, but I am here, I have to prove myself and I have to make Nigerians proud if the opportunity comes.
"I am always ready if they give me the chance to play, I will prove myself." He said
He, therefore, stressed that the team is not under pressure but full of confidence to get the job done.
The Super Eagles will do battle with South Africa’s Bafana Bafana in Uyo on Saturday. and later against Cheetahs of Benin Republic away from home.
