Popular Nigerian activist VeryDarkMan has reacted to recent prophecies claiming he will die unexpectedly.

DAILY POST reports that two prophets — one from Nigeria and another from Ghana — made separate revelations about the activist’s alleged fate.

In a viral video, the first prophet, speaking in Yoruba to his congregation, said: “There are activists in this country that they will soon end in Nigeria. One of the activists will be imprisoned. The other one will be killed because they said they have nothing to lose.”

The second prophet warned: “This is for VDM. Bad politicians have taken him to a river. VDM is dead in the river but still alive in the physical world. And it’s very bad for your face to be inside a river. Whether VDM likes it or not, he will leave the world unexpectedly.”

Reacting in an Instagram post on Sunday, VeryDarkMan said death is inevitable and urged prophets to focus on visions that could benefit the nation.

“You heard the pastor, although he didn’t mention my name, he made reference to what I usually say — that I have nothing to lose.
You are seeing vision for me as if I’m important. I’m not important. Death is inevitable and is coming for all of us. Tell us a vision about our country. Tell us when Nigeria will be a great country,” he said.

The activist’s remarks have sparked debate online, with many Nigerians weighing in on the role of prophecy in public discourse.
