Social media critic Martins Ortse, also known as VeryDarkMan, has blasted the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede, calling him "incompetent" and a "clown". This criticism stems from Olukoyede's inability to arrest former Kogi State governor Yahaya Bello, who was declared wanted by the EFCC in April for alleged N80.2 billion money laundering offenses.¹ ²

VeryDarkMan pointed out the hypocrisy of the EFCC, highlighting that while they've arraigned over 100 people, they've failed to take action against Bello, whose alleged crimes far surpass those of the others. He questioned the EFCC's priorities, accusing them of targeting young people while letting high-profile offenders like Bello slip through the cracks.

It's worth noting that VeryDarkMan has been critical of the EFCC in the past. He was involved in a recent controversy surrounding Bobrisky, a popular crossdresser who alleged that EFCC officers received N15 million from him to dismiss money laundering charges. The EFCC has since launched an investigation into these allegations.

VeryDarkMan's criticism of Olukoyede and the EFCC raises important questions about the agency's effectiveness and accountability in combating corruption in Nigeria.
