Adamawa State Police don arrest one man, Jeriel Clifford Peter, wey allegedly stab him 67-year-old wife, Miltha Jeriel, to death for Demsa LGA.

 

The matter happen Thursday, November 6, 2025, after disagreement wey start for beer parlour turn violent. During the fight, the 71-year-old husband reportedly attack him wife with knife and axe, wey cut her body badly.

 

Victim rush hospital, but she die while dem dey treat am. Her body don deposit for hospital mortuary for autopsy.

 

Police confirm say the suspect don arrest, and the knife and axe wey dem use don recover.

 

CP Dankombo Morris, Adamawa Police Commissioner, condemn the act and direct Criminal Investigation Department in Yola make dem handle case well for proper investigation and prosecution.

 

CP also warn residents against domestic violence, advise make dem settle wahala peacefully, and promise say justice go follow all offenders.
