President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Sunday welcome big names wey come greet am for Sallah inside him Ikoyi house for Lagos, as part of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration. This visit come as some people dey whisper say things no too clear between Tinubu and Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

 

But Governor Sanwo-Olu show face among the visitors, including members of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC) – the highest decision body for APC for Lagos. Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to Tinubu on Information and Strategy, confirm the visit for social media.

 

“Today, with GAC members, we go greet President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for Sallah, to hail am and send our best wishes,” Onanuga post.

 

After the visit, Sanwo-Olu yarn with journalists and sharply deny any wahala between him and the President. He say Tinubu still dey support Lagos well-well, especially for transport matters.

 

“We come to celebrate with am, pray with am, and let am know say Lagos people dey happy with am. Wetin he don do in the past two years, we dey see am clear. We dey wish am well, and we dey support am anytime,” Sanwo-Olu talk.

 

The Governor still mention how Tinubu help with fuel subsidy removal and support the third train of the Blue Rail Line, wey dem unveil on Sunday for National Theatre Station.

 

This Sallah visit come at the right time, especially as people don dey talk say maybe the two leaders don get small gbege. The talk start after one video show Tinubu like say he no greet Sanwo-Olu properly during the flag-off of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway on May 31. Plus, when Sanwo-Olu no show face for another event to start road work for Epe-Ijebu Ode, people begin suspect something dey.
