Popular Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson has finally addressed persistent rumours surrounding his personal life, firmly denying claims that he is a womaniser. The 38-year-old actor said his hectic filming schedule leaves no room for such a lifestyle.

 

Speaking during a recent appearance on The Culture League podcast alongside Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface and comedian Bovi, Egbuson gave rare insight into his relationship status and daily routine.

 

“A lot of people assume that I’m a womaniser. But I’m not,” he said. “In the past two, three years, Nollywood has taken over my life in a way that there’s no room, except you will be the most unserious [to womanise]. From being on set all day to getting back tired at 11 pm, I will now start chatting a lady? I don’t have the capacity for that. So, I’m not in the street as people may think I am.”

 

The actor also revealed he has been single for the past two to three years, emphasizing that the demands of his profession make it nearly impossible to pursue multiple romantic relationships.

 

Despite the public perception and “bad boy” label that often trails him, Egbuson said he’s unbothered by the stereotypes. “I actually find it funny,” he noted, indicating that he chooses to focus on his career rather than public opinion.

 

Timini Egbuson, known for his dynamic roles in blockbuster Nollywood films such as Elevator Baby, Big Love, and Shuga, continues to be one of the most in-demand leading men in the industry. As he pushes forward with an intense production schedule, the actor says his priority remains telling impactful stories — not entertaining unfounded gossip.
