Three Teams Book Their Places in NWFL Premiership Super Six

Three teams, Edo Queens, Bayelsa Queens, and Rivers Angels, have officially secured their spots in the 2024/25 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership Super Six. The teams emerged as top performers after the conclusion of Matchday 11 fixtures on Wednesday, April 9.
In a crucial Group A match, Edo Queens defeated Remo Stars Ladies 1-0. Kafayat Mafishere scored the winning goal in the eighth minute, extending Edo Queens' unbeaten run and halting Remo's perfect home record.
In Lagos, FC Robo Queens dealt Rivers Angels their first defeat of the season, winning 3-0. Goals from Kemi Adegbuyi, Mariam Yahaya, and Opeyemi Ajakaye ended Rivers Angels' 10-game unbeaten streak. Despite the loss, Rivers Angels have secured qualification for the Super Six.
Bayelsa Queens also cemented their place in the Super Six with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Benue Queens. The team continues its unbeaten run, showcasing its strength and determination in the competition.
