Nigerian comedian and actor Richard Ayodeji Makun, popularly known as AY, has reaffirmed his relevance in the entertainment industry, pushing back against the notion that fame inevitably fades with age.

In a recent Instagram post, AY addressed those who believe that growing older equates to losing one’s place in the spotlight. Contrary to that belief, he stated that he remains a significant and influential figure in the industry.

AY attributed his sustained success to divine grace and emphasized that his career is far from over. The award-winning entertainer made it clear that he has no plans to retire or fade into obscurity, expressing his continued passion for entertaining audiences across generations.

“They said the spotlight dims with age, I guess mine forgot the memo. Call it grace,” AY wrote.
