The Chairman of Like-Minds Football Club of Gwagwalada, Abuja, Babatunde Akintade (Bocknor) has remained unshaken about the future of the club which missed topping the Bwari zone of the NLO Division 1 League by whiskers. 

Speaking after his  team finished second after the nine matches played in the group , the NLO Board member said adequate preparation gave them an edge in league. 

Akintade who is also a Board member of the FCT Football Association said though it was painful that his team missed topping the centre, but insisted that the future is brighter for them "we now have enough experience, having played last season, and this season, we are ready to go for the ultimate in future". He commended his players and officials, and advised them to remain focused. 

Like Minds FC finished the group with 19 points from 9 matches winning 6 drew 1, and lost 2. They had a goal advantage of 21 conceding 8.

In their last match of the group, they defeated TSM FC by Seven goals to one. Formed in 2022, Like-Minds qualified for the elite division of the NLO by winning the Division 2 League in their first attempt.
