East Side Juventus Academy have emerged winners of the 2025 Saaskatoon  City Wide U-15 Championship, Canada, as the championship came to a fitting end in style, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.

Teenage Nigerians, Onyedika Tega Onuora Oguno 14 years and Ebube Onuora Oguno 13 years are the children of Prof Azubuike Onuora Oguno and Mrs Blessing Onuora Oguno Igbokaenyi, Anambra West LGA, Anambra State.

The Championship, which took place in Saskatchewan Canada, saw East Side Juventus overturn a 2-0 deficit in the first five minutes to edge Lakewood FC 3-2 in the gritty semi final clash.

Onyedika Tega Onuora came off the bench to provide an assist for his younger brother, Ebube Onuora, to reduce the scoreline to 2-1.

After his assist, Onyedika Tega Onuora won the game for his East Side Juventus with three minutes left on the clock after his side had leveled scores at 2-2.

Then in the against Aurora FC, East Side Juventus would gon on to defeat Aurora FC 4-3 to emerge overall champions of the tournament.

It turned out a huge moment of joy and happiness in the Oguno family as their kids begin their in-road into football on high, setting a standard for Nigeria and Nigerians that young players should be encouraged, even by their parents, to grow in the game from the football academies.

It's also an indication the even the NFF should toe similar path as its bound to produce and supply talents for the various grades of the National Teams
