Nigeria Falconets former striker Taiwo Lawal has joined the Turkish Women's League side Atasehir Belediyespor,

Lawal confirmed her move to the Turkish side through her social media handle, while also bidding farewell to her Lagos-based club FC Robo Queens.

“I’m happy to announce my official move to Atasehir Belediyespor in the Turkish Super Lig. I am so excited to continue the next phase of my career in Turkey.

"I want to appreciate FC Robo Queens for the moments we had together. I learned a lot at the club, and I wish them well in their future endeavors. We had great memories together, but those memories will linger on," she stated.

The skillful attacker has represented Nigeria at the U17 and U20 levels.
