NSA Ribadu Warns Families Against Paying Ransom to Kidnappers
National Security Adviser Mallam Nuhu Ribadu has cautioned Nigerians against paying ransom to kidnappers, emphasizing that this practice fuels criminal activities. He made this statement after receiving over 60 victims rescued from captivity in Zangon Kataf, Southern Kaduna, following sustained military operations.

The victims, comprising 35 males and 29 females and children, were formally handed over to the Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar. Notable individuals among them include ¹:
