Sokoto United FC has released an official statement informing the general public that two of its players, Yakubu Dauda Jaji (Abbaty) and Christopher Ododo, have left the team camp without management's consent.

The players, who are duly registered with the club and have existing contract agreements, were last seen in camp on December 2nd, 2024, and December 22nd, 2024, respectively.

Sokoto United FC warns that any attempt by another club, individual, or group to register these players without following due process will be considered illegal and may result in litigation. The club remains committed to the development and progress of its players, provided that all necessary procedures are followed.
