Socialite Phyna Says She’d Marry Five Men If Traditional Marriage Roles Were Reversed

Reality TV star and socialite Phyna has stirred conversation online after openly sharing her unconventional views on marriage and gender roles.
Speaking candidly, Phyna said she would happily embrace polygamy—if women were the ones traditionally allowed to marry multiple partners. According to her, the idea appeals to her so much that she would not mind having “husbands everywhere.”
“I would marry five men and buy the same clothes for all of them,” she said, adding humor to her bold take. Phyna also suggested that marriage laws should be changed to allow women to marry men in the same way men are permitted to marry multiple wives in some cultures, including parts of India.
Reflecting on societal expectations, she pointed out how women are often the ones waiting to be chosen for marriage. “You know how women wait for men to marry us,” she said, implying that the imbalance would feel very different if the roles were reversed.
Phyna concluded by joking that men are “lucky” society dictates that women should marry men and not the other way around.
Her comments have since sparked mixed reactions on social media, with some applauding her for challenging traditional norms, while others debated the cultural and legal implications of her statement.
