Femi Adebayo's "Seven Doors" and Lateef Adedimeji's "Lisabi: The Uprising" emerged as the biggest winners at the 11th Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards (AMVCA), with each film claiming three prestigious accolades during the star-studded ceremony.

"Seven Doors" secured two of the night's most coveted honors—Best Lead Actor for Femi Adebayo and Best Lead Actress for Chioma Chukwuka—alongside the award for Best Score/Music, which went to Tolu Obanro for his exceptional work on the production.

"Lisabi: The Uprising" matched this impressive haul with wins in three technical categories: Best Indigenous Language (West Africa), Best Art Direction for Solihull Badu Noutical and Ayanmo Yakub, and Best Make-Up for Hakeem Onilogbo, widely known in the industry as Hakeem Effect.

The ceremony celebrated not only emerging talent but also paid tribute to veterans who have shaped Nigeria's film industry over decades. Industry stalwarts Sani Mu'azu and Nkem Owoh received Lifetime Achievement Awards in recognition of their immense contributions to Nollywood's growth and development.

Director Kayode Kasum was honored with the prestigious Trailblazer Award, acknowledging his innovative approach to filmmaking that has consistently pushed the boundaries of Nigerian cinema.

In other major categories, Blessing Uzzi's "Freedom Way" was crowned Best Movie, while also securing the award for Best Writer. Gabriel Afolayan took home the Best Supporting Actor award for his performance in Clarence Peters' "Inside Life," which also won Best Series (Scripted). Mercy Aigbe claimed the Best Supporting Actress trophy for her role in "Farmer's Bride."

The Best Director award went to Awam Amkpa for "The Man Died," while "Dundun," directed by Ifeoluwa Fatogun and Ebi Atawodi, was recognized as Best Documentary.

The 11th AMVCA reinforced its status as one of Africa's premier film and television award ceremonies, showcasing the continent's rapidly evolving creative landscape and celebrating excellence across multiple disciplines within the industry.
