The month of April was indeed an eventful one, full of activities for the chairman of Eziukwu road market who also doubles as the chairman of chairmen of all the markets in Abia State Hon Moses Ibe Oba.

Let's take a look at some of the major functions and activities Hon. Oba embarked on.


On the 5th of April, the Anambra Development Unions Association, Aba branch, held a reception in honour of the governor Dr Alex Otti.
Hon. Oba who is a stakeholder in the association was there.


In his reactions after the event, Hon. Oba praised Governor Otti for his efforts and developmental strides in Abia, he thanked the governor for always extending an olive branch to None-indigenes in Abia.

Hon. Oba assured the governor that Anambra indigenes in Abia would continue to be law-abiding and also assured him of their unwavering support ahead of the 2027 elections.


As part of the activities marking the Easter celebrations, Hon. Oba joined the Abia State Governor Dr Alex Otti, The Labour Party candidate in the 2023 presidential election Mr Peter Obi and the Speaker of the Abia State House Of Assembly RT. Hon. Emmanuel Emeruwa in a Holy Thursday Mass at Christ The King Cathedral (CKC) Aba.

Speaking at the event Hon. Oba urged Abians to be steadfast in hard work and prayers so as to attract more of God's blessings in the state.

In a related development, Hon. Oba also sent Abians a heartwarming Easter goodwill message on the eve of the celebrations. 


Hon. Oba also attended a stakeholders meeting organized by the incoming  leaders of Abia Arise, a top socio-political group in the state. 

Hon. Oba in his speech expressed his satisfaction at the group's mode of administration and disclosed his total support both morally and financially to the realization of the group's agenda.


Hon. Oba Moses also admonished the newly constituted  leadership of Abia Arise  to discharge their duties to the best of their abilities.
