Rivers Angels Respond to Adamawa Queens Coach’s Allegations, Demand Investigation

 

The management of Rivers Angels FC has taken note of the post-match interview by Coach Dadeino Herman, Technical Adviser of Adamawa Queens, in which she made spurious allegations against our club.

 

Coach Herman’s claim that Rivers Angels “used the referees” to gain an advantage in the match is baseless and unacceptable. It is ironic that she acknowledged the quality of our players yet chose to divert attention with unfounded accusations.

 

Furthermore, her allegations against the match commissioner and centre referee are serious and deserve the league body’s attention. However, we insist that such claims should not be used to deflect from the actual outcome of the match.

 

As a reputable club, Rivers Angels will not allow our image to be tarnished by baseless accusations.

 

We urge the league authorities to thoroughly investigate this matter and take appropriate action.
