Former Super Eagles Coach, Adegboye Onigbinde has revealed that the 1984 AFCON lost to Cameroon was traded by some powerful members of then football fraternity.
Speaking on a radio program in Abuja, the former FIFA/CAF advisor said though he took a rookie team to the tournament in Côte D’iviore, that the final match against Cameroun was traded by people he would soon mentioned. Onigbinde who did not hide his feelings about the preference of the foreign Coaches to the local one, said those in authority know exactly what they want to achieve in all their decisions.
