There are strong indications that the Director General, National Sports Commission (NSC) Hon.Bukola Olopade did not authorised the letter rejecting the resignation of Mr Paul Maduakor as president, Nigeria Amputee Football Federation. 

It would be recalled that ,Maduakor has tendered his resignation letter to the NSC through the Director, NSFPS ,Mrs Thecia Opara on 5th November, 2024.
The NSC,through the Director, NSFPS  had written and signed a letter on behalf of the DG, NSC rejecting the resignation dated 27th November, 2024 which read in part "NSC was in shock and disbelief about your intention to resign.NSC is worried that it is coming at the moment of transition where the sport Federation is coming to life as a result of the passion you have for the sport and the zeal to develop it to a greater height".
