Nationwide League One Secretariat has confirmed Saturday, 12 July 2025 as resumption date for the suspended promotion play-offs in three centers across the country----Port Harcourt, Ijebu Ode and Sagamu, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.

Play-offs in the three centers were suspended last month following petitions by some clubs, Campos FC, Owerri and Cynosure FC Abakaliki to the Disciplinary Committee of the Nigeria Football Federatiin, NFF, claiming that the Summary Jurisdiction of the NLO handed down to them was unjust and severe.

Campos FC were sanctioned by NLO Secretariat for complicity in an alleged match compromise in their 15-2 spanking of A&A Kiviansennus FC in Awka.

Similarly, Cynosure FC, Abakaliki petitioned the NFF Disciplinary Committee rejecting the punishment meted out to them for an alleged claim of match fixing involving Liberty FC and E-World FC where Libeety FC were alleged to have commenced the final day match in their group with seven players.

Exclusivenews.com.ng reports that the NFF Disciplinary Committee headed by Barrister JBC Obikwelu heard all the prayers of the different parties and took a critical, fair and just assessment look at the merits and otherwise of the matter on Tuesday, July 2, 2025.

But the Disciplinary Committee's findings and decisions did not alter the nomenclature of the Promotion play-offs, hence NLO Secretariat has now directed that matches scheduled for the Sharks Stadium, Port Harcourt, Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode and FC Ebedei Stadium, Sagamu, should commence on Saturday 12 July through Tuesday 15 July, 2025.

This was contained in a statement by the NLO Head, Olushola Ogunnowo and made available to the club's concerned and their state FAs.

In Port Harcourt, Ozalla FA, Anambra will open their campaign with a gritty contest vs E-World before taking on Ahudiyannem of Abia State on 13 July.

Ozalla FA will clash with FC One Rocket on the final day of the play-offs scheduled for 15 July, 2025
