Ijebu Ode, Nigeria – Remo Stars Ladies have successfully defended their Ogun State FA Cup title, securing a commanding 4-0 victory over Castmog FA at the Dipo Dina Stadium on Saturday.

The Sky Blue Stars dominated from the start, with four different players finding the net in the first half, sealing back-to-back State FA Cup triumphs.

Macarthy Adebisi opened the scoring in the 15th minute with a well-taken free kick. Just three minutes later, Arubo Oluwaseyi doubled the lead, capitalizing on an assist from Subomi Ogundele.

Blessed Isigbo extended the lead to 3-0 in the 33rd minute, before Kafayat Bashiru rounded off the scoring five minutes later by heading home a corner from Macarthy.

The emphatic win extends Remo Stars Ladies’ unbeaten run this season to seven games across all competitions, including six matches in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership.

Both Remo Stars Ladies and Castmog FA will represent Ogun State at the women’s category of the 2025 President Federation Cup. Last season, Remo Stars reached the semi-finals of the competition before falling to Naija Ratels.

With this victory, the Sky Blue Ladies are determined to go one step further and challenge for the national title in this year’s President Federation Cup.
