The hierarchy of NPFL side, Rangers, have reflected on the just concluded 2024/2025 season which marked the second year of their five-year 'strategic plan' acknowleding the Coal City Flying Antelopes 'significant strides under its 2023–2027 Strategic Plan', Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.

The seven time Nigeria Champions issued a statement on Monday, 26 May, reiterating its ambition to become 'Africa's most admired and professional sport institution'. 

The Flying Antelopes extended profound gratitude to their supporters, partners, and the Enugu State Government, particularly His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, 'whose unwavering support has been pivotal to the club's journey'.

Sporting Excellence: A Season of Growth

"The 2023/2024 season saw Rangers International FC make history by lifting the NPFL trophy. This past season, the club continued its strong performance, reaching the semi-finals of the 2025 President’s Federation Cup. 

"While narrowly missing out on the final, the club expressed pride in its continued growth, distinctive style, and enduring spirit.

"Significant progress has been made in youth development. The Rangers Academicals (U13–U15) are steadily evolving, and the Under-19 team has showcased exceptional discipline, creativity, and hunger, representing the future of the club. To further engage young talents, curtain-raiser games were introduced, integrating grassroots players into the matchday experience.

"Globally, the partnership with FC Schaffhausen (Switzerland) continues to create meaningful pathways for talent development, coaching exchange, and international exposure.

"Rangers International FC's growing brand has attracted significant corporate interest. The club’s jersey sponsorship with Afrinvest and sleeve partnership with Nortra Tractors remain vital milestones, built on a shared belief in the club's values. 

"Eye Ball also joined as an innovation partner, contributing to the digitalization of operations, data tracking, and enhanced fan engagement.

"The club also acknowledged its service-based partners whose consistent support enhances daily operations: Kitchen Pastries and Amakris Kitchen for their nourishing presence, Puzzle Classic Clothing for aligning style with tradition, and Senior BarMan for adding class to hospitality moments".
