Veteran midfielder Rabiu Ali delivered a masterclass performance as Kano Pillars FC secured a 2–0 victory over Enyimba FC in Matchday 31 of the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL).

 

Ali’s dominant display earned him the Sai Masu Gida Fans’ Player of the Match award, presented by the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria.

 

The midfield maestro controlled proceedings throughout the match, dictating play and providing assists for both goals scored by Chiedozie Jude Okorie and Ahmed Musa.

 

Ali came close to getting on the scoresheet himself, forcing multiple saves from the Enyimba goalkeeper and striking the post with a powerful free kick.

 

His all-round performance proved decisive, as Kano Pillars strengthened their position with a convincing home win, much to the delight of their supporters.
