Quarter finalists have emerged in the ongoing 3rd edition of the annual Judith Chime Women Football Championship after the conclusion of group matches on Wednesday at Rangers Training Ground and College of Immaculate Conception field, Enugu, Exclusivenews.com.ng reports.

In their final group A match, title holders, Imo Strikers Queen saw off Zohar Football Academy 4-0 with 
two first half goals from
Osinachi Ugbala and Amarachi Mmesoma while the pair of Oparamegwa Palther and Nkwocha Precious added two more in the second period to make it 4-0.

Imo Strikers with the maximum six points from their two group games top the group.  Rising Stars from Ojoto, Anambra State, finished second in the group with a point after a draw and a loss join Imo Strikers in the knock out phase.

Also, Zohar FA, which ended the group games with one point, sneaked into the knock out phase after emerging as one of the two 'best losers'.

In group B, Giant Express Sports Academy, GESA, topped the group with four points to qualify. Immaculate Queens, also with four points, finished second in the group to seal their final eight (8) place.

In group C, Greenfoot Academy won their three matches to finish first with nine points and an incredible +15 goals. They conceded just one goal after scoring 16 in their three group games.

Greenfoot showed no mercy in their final group game, whitewashing Disdevt in Afrik 9-0 with Anastesia Uzor singlehandedly scored six.

Solo Wonders picked the second qualification slot after finishing second in the group with four (4) points. Bravehearts emerged as 'best losers' in the group with four points to complete the eight-team quarter final list.
